Annual Report


  1. On the subject of education Plato once said “the direction in which education starts a man will determine his future in life”, and in the words of one of the most prominent personalities of the world Mrs. Margret Thatcher – “it is the education that hands over the reign of all Nations and makes you the leader of the world”. Thus, it is an educator who ensures that children of today must be prepared not only for formal and papery learning but for practical decisions as well, and to solve this purpose we the educators of SGRR Public School Raja Road are striving hard to create better students and responsible citizens of India.

  2. Apart from Co-curricular, academics, sports and a long series of intraschool & interschool performance, the school is also making efforts to make students to be loyal, determined, disciplined and well equipped in communicative and technological skills.

  3. During the session 2017-18 the school was able to present excellent Board Result. Rudraksh aggarwal of class X bagged 90.8%, Shobha Kumari of same class scored 89% & Ankit Kumar 85.2%. Class XII students also proved their mettle. In Science stream, Shivani Thakur 90.4%, Pashu Gihar 90.2%, Saurabh Yadav 87% & Ankur Shukla 86% while Mahima Chinar of Commerce stream scored 87%, Tuba Ansari 81% & Kusum Pokhriyal 80%.

  4. Our students participated in a large number of Inter house competitions at junior and senior level including some new competitions in which they excelled using their creative skills and ideas. Hand painting, paper bags, paper mache, origami, clay work, stone art, mural painting, chocolate art, wax work, bandhei work, tie and dye and wax decoration were few of them. Besides these, patriotic song, Hindi and English debate, Science Exhibition, Election Quiz, English Calligraphy, Essay Writing, Rangoli, Mehandi, Kite Making, Pot Decoration, Flower Arrangement, Best Out Of Waste were also organized to provide platform to give physical form to their creativity and talent. “Say No to Tobacco”, ‘Cleanliness campaign’, ‘Beti Bacho Beti Padhao’ were a few campaigns organized by our school to create a awareness in the society and to make our students a better human beings. Apart from all this Psychological and Career counselingS were also done inviting a team of doctors and experts in the school.

  5. A large number of students participated in our school competitions like group dance, songs, classical performances etc. Our students went to Wadia Institute also, to show their caliber in Science Exhibition and G.K quiz.

  6. In sports, students show keen sportsmanship as we provide them with facilities for most of the games and sports. During sports week athletics, basket ball, volleyball, handball, cycle race, kho-kho, cricket and many more exciting events were organized for both boys and girls for senior, junior and primary section according to their capabilities. The school is also going to release the issue of the school journal “The Milestone” which is the mirror of the school.

  7. The school feels immensely proud for the upgradation in the infrastructure.
    A newly constructed Block-A with 16 large spacious rooms and two huge Multipurpose Halls, are now adding a grace to the school. Students are being benefited now by well equipped labs, music room, activity room, Art room, Smart class and library with numerous books in it.
    A basket ball, badminton court in the campus are also doubling the enthusiasm of the sports lovers. All these are assisting the students to bring laurels and awards in the school.

  8. Keeping the view that one tree is equal to one hundred sons, the school is whole heartedly proceeding forward to create a green and refreshed surrounding, as we believe that the children must learn to conserve and preserve nature. We want to infuse environment values and sense of responsibilities amongst our students.

  9. Besides all this it is also a matter of great pride that a large amount of students were facilitated with a great relaxation of fee-concession to the financially weak children under the generous sponsorship of Shri. Mahant Devendra Das Ji. The school has also focused keenly for slow-learner students by providing special remedial classes during summer and winter breaks both. Remarkable role was played by all the teachers of the school for the improvement of communicative English and for the success of this herculean task, all the students were provided with stage show during the daily morning assembly sessions to present themselves on the stage and provided them with self presentation programme and extempore topics one after the other one. After a year, a lot of improvement was reflected. Even by the Education Officers of the school appreciated this Communicative English Programme and Vocabulary Sessions.

  10. Regarding the new traditions in modern teaching-learning process our teachers need to update themselves to make class rooms Mecca of learning. Our Teachers attend workshops run by CBSE to make complicated lesson interesting and easier. Despite of having students from weak academic background, our teachers are determined to get the school enrolled into the series of one of the best school of CBSE. The school is being taken to the greater heights and is making gradual progress by the expertise and wise guidance, effective endeavour and deep dedication of all staff members.
